NWS NUWEIGH has been a NATA accredited laboratory since 1991. We hold accreditation number 3279. We conduct all our NATA calibration and service work in accordance to ISO/IEC 17025
Regulation 13 Certificates
NWS NUWEIGH is a registered Verifying Authority accredited by the National Measurement Institute (NMI Australian Government) we are authorised to issue Regulation 13 Certificates to companies that are required to have this type of certification on their test masses for calibrating and verifying weighing instruments that are used for trade use. The certificate contains information such as the date of the calibration, the results of the testing, and the traceability of the equipment to national and international standards.
NATA Endorsed Certificates
A NATA Endorsed Certificate is a certificate that verifies the equipment has been tested, inspected, and calibrated by our laboratory that has been accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA). Our NATA-endorsed certificates for weighing equipment is a mark of quality assurance that provides assurance to our customers that the scales and equipment have been calibrated and reported to a high standard of accuracy and reliability. A Certificate of Regulation 34 is to ensure that the weight of artefacts are accurate and reliable to the weights recorded on the certificate. NUWEIGHs Accreditation ensures we meet the relevant standards and regulations including traceability of the weighing equipment and test masses used to obtain the weight result of the artefact and meet national and international standards.
