The MIL589 also allow the user to spread them apart at a variety of distances to weigh long or unusually shaped items and are available in powder coated or stainless steel finishes.
The NUWEIGH MIL589 weighbeams are also one of the only products on the market to feature strong steel casing above and below the product, most competitors models have no protection underneath the weighbeam providing easy access for rodents, material build up, corrosion etc.
