A recent customer required an industrial scale to weigh freight packages that has high accuracy, NMI trade verification, robust structure and would print custom configured labels. Our solution, combing the NUWEIGH JAC939 Platform Scale, JAC300 Series Indicator and our Thermal Printer to create the perfect system for the weighing of parcels.

This scale is well suited to weighing packages due to the large 800 x 600mm weighing base that allows for the easy transition of goods to and from the platform. This is complimented by the 300kg capacity and the heavy-duty nature of the scale that ensures the system will withstand rugged environments.

The JAC300 Series indicator is able to collect, store and communicate weight readings. The weight data can then be hardwired or wirelessly transferred to printers, scanners and integrated into existing networks. The indicator is suitable for both desk or wall mount applications and can be adjusted to any angle for easy viewing. The JAC300 Series has a wide variety of options for displays e.g. LCD, LED and from sizes ranging 25mm to 55mm. NUWEIGH also offer the addition of our KCA1100 Remote Display with a display size of 120mm for long range viewing.

The indicator is linked directly to the thermal printer for instant packaging labels that can be applied directly to the carton. The labels have been custom configured to show the name, weight and shipping address.
