NUWEIGH’s In-ground Whiteridge Series Axle Weighing System

Recently, we installed an inground 5.5m Whiteridge Series Weighbridge for a logistics company with Axle Firmware, a JAC350 Stainless Steel Indicator and an external Docket Printer Station both mounted to a NUWEIGH hot-tip galvanised IH Pole. The use of the weighbridge is to safely manage the truck axle weights and prevent overloading by ensuring the vehicle’s mass management is being abided to.

The in-ground engineered weighbridge provides a completely level weighing platform and when compared to above ground and semi-inground weighbridges, they withhold the least amount of surface area on your site. The weighbridge foundations and 4x JAC8000 loadcells are mounted in-ground below the decks which prevents the need for any extra width surrounding the weighing platform as the loadcells can be serviced from within the pit. Additionally, the inground design of the weighbridge prevents the need for entry and exit ramps as the vehicle transitions seamlessly onto the weighing platform.
